I tried to delete them but it won’t allow me. The ‘delete’ option is grayed out in the Actions. The only options I can click are ‘Duplicate’ and ‘Request Approval’. Should I raise a service request ticket for this?

One more concern though is I am still seeing the approvers which I erroneously added earlier. When I removed the group approval requests as Shubhra noticed, these 9 line items were retained (there used to be 17 names here). How can I mark the yellow items below as ‘No Longer Required’?
