Attached is example 1 of 2 that I had this week in UKI CTH. The attached example: DMND0010239 is enquiry only and no SP was developed. Therefore, there is no cost estimate nor anything for the business requester to approve. However, when the TSM returned the demand to PdM (me), the request went into Awaiting Approval stage. With nothing to be approved, and with new UKI CTH feature of sending approval emails to Region COOs, this is an issue. The only option the PdM has to close the request is "Reject" which puts the demand in stage "Post-Solution Rejection." Per the definition of this demand stage on DMA, this is not the appropriate stage for this request because there is no Solution Plan that was rejected.
I requested the Service Desk to change the Demand Stage for example 2 of 2 (DMND0011222) to be "Pre-Solution Rejection" from the backend. But, a request to change the value from the back end is only a workaround and not a solution to this issue. Ideally this type of demand and this situation should be able to be identified as Closed and Completed because the enquiry was answered. Unfortunately, this can only occur if the demand is in RG I or RG II stages. What can be done differently to get the demand in correct closure stage?
