Thank you Renee for setting up the call on 9/24 to discuss this.
Today, I had the call with our Architecture and Solution Delivery Leaders (Boris/Habeeb cc’d) to debrief them on what we discussed on Friday.
Short term – ATTG Dev managers to send the ET hosting estimate request via emails to Renee and attach the excel form.
Long term – Arvind/CT DMA team to have a process within CT DMA tool so that ATTG DMs can raise the ET hosting request for the close demands that were pre-loaded; @Arvind – We understand that we are consumers of the process but going forward please include Habeeb/Boris in future meetings and communications to ensure we all are on the same page.
I will send out the communication to ATTG team informing about the same.
@Renee – When I spoke to Habeeb/Boris, these questions came and was hoping if you can help answer. Please advise on below items.
What was the old process to submit ET hosting estimate requests before CT DMA? The previous process was to submit the requests to me via the template.
When did the team move away from old process and started leveraging CT DMA for ET demands/requests? The intent of moving away from the old process for ET Compute demand was to have a single entry point for all demand. As portfolios started to use the DMA tool, they were instructed to use the tool for all demand and any ET Compute would be routed to ET automatically. Given that the other portfolios are all doing this, including Global Tax, I’m not sure why it wasn’t taken into consideration when onboarding ATTG to the DMA tool. Anil might be able to weigh in on this. Was there any communication that went out? I do not remember receiving any official communications since this was done through CT. Anil could better answer how communications were handled.
Can you please keep Habeeb /Boris/I in loop for the demands that are submitted via email? Yes. If anyone in ATTG contacts me for ET Compute demand I can notify Habeeb and Boris. Note that I only had maybe three requests for ET Compute demand during FY21 so there is very little OnPrem demand from ATTG. This may be why no one took putting ET Compute into DMA for ATTG.

As per my understanding, the Adhoc Ideas (or Demands) even with other SL’s; the full fillment can happen post Solution plan approval via ET. This is the process post Experience management will allocate the ET resource to manage, I am guessing here.
I think we are good, as long its AdHoc demands created via IDEA form, which flows through normal workflow.
